Year 3 Teaching Assistant | Dollis Hill | Immediate Start | £425-£525 PAYE

Ortus Recruitment is currently on the lookout for a skilled teaching assistant to join our team and support one of our client schools situated in the lively locale of Dollis Hill, within the London Borough of Brent. This school enjoys a vibrant surrounding, boasting numerous cafes and restaurants, picturesque parks, and bustling shops.

In this role, you will primarily be assigned to a year 3 classroom, serving as a general teaching assistant. Your main responsibility will be to bolster academic progress by conducting group activities and one-on-one interventions tailored to students requiring additional support. Moreover, you’ll play a pivotal role in assisting children with special educational needs, ensuring their engagement in class activities and aiding their behavioral management.

What are the requirements?

• Strong Behaviour management skills
• Able to follow instruction when given
• Proactive
• 3-6 months working in a classroom
• Knowledge of the UK curriculum
• Vaild DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new DBS
• Working with a range of mild SEN: Autism, ADHD and Dyslexia

Job description

• £85 – £105 per day – PAYE Payments (No Umbrella Company Fees!)
